Levels of Service
IDENTITY GUARD Total Protection includes five areas of protection for less than $20 per month. A 30-day free trial is available. The Total Protection service includes:
Credit Protection: With IDENTITY GUARD Total Protection, daily monitoring of all three credit bureaus and daily scanning of credit applications are conducted to ensure that no one is accessing or trying to fraudulently obtain credit in your name. The identity theft protection service sends email alerts to you when there are any changes in your credit files or if new loans, mortgages, retail credit cards, cell phone accounts, etc., are fraudulently opened in your name. Credit reports, complete with credit scores, from all three credit bureaus are provided on a quarterly basis.
Internet Protection: This area of protection includes daily surveillance of the Internet financial black market, where identity thieves sell, trade, or exchange stolen personal and financial information. IDENTITY GUARD Total Protection uses its patented Internet scanning technology to ensure your private information is not present on the black market. The Internet protection also covers monitoring of online information that is publicly available to ensure your personal information is not compromised.
Computer Protection: IDENTITY GUARD Total Protection includes ZoneAlarm® Internet Security Suite, which features anti-virus, anti-spyware and firewall software, as well as PRIVACYPROTECT for encrypting keystrokes so your information cannot be stolen while browsing the Internet.
On-the-Go Protection: Comprehensive mobile protection is included via MOBILE LOCKBOX, which allows you to securely store your personal records and financial accounts on your mobile devices and safely access them. On-the-Go IDENTITY GUARD Total Protection also protects you when connecting to Wi-Fi hotspots and notifies you via cell phone of any changes to your credit files or personal data contained in public records available on the Internet. On-the-Go Protection also includes lost wallet protection.
Identity Theft Recovery Protection: In the event you become a victim of identity theft while enrolled in IDENTITY GUARD Total Protection, the company provides you access to a dedicated identity theft recovery unit that assists you through the recovery process, as well as unlimited access to credit education specialists. Identity theft recovery protection also comes with $1 million loss reimbursement insurance. To prevent identity theft, this area of protection also includes the IDENTITY GUARD ID RISK ASSESSMENT tool that uses pattern recognition technology to analyze your identity theft risk.
